NEWS: Jonny Bunyan announced as Captain!

We are delighted to announce that your RJM Sports sponsored #9 and longest-serving player at the club Jonny Bunyan is the captain for 2020/21!

Jonny will take on captaincy duties from the previous skipper and now head coach Gareth Murray.

Jonny joined from Falkirk Fury in 2011 and has just entered his tenth season with the club.

Jonny stated on the appointment:

“It’s a great honour!

“It definitely means a lot to me given my history with the club. Being part of the Rocks over the years has done so much for me.

“I was only a teenager when I joined the team so I’ve grown up with Rocks over the years.

“I feel ready for the role and I’m grateful to Gareth and the team for putting their trust in me.

“I hope I can be a Captain that the Rocks nation can be proud of”

Jonny will make his debut at captain this weekend as Rocks open the season against Cheshire Phoenix in the cup.

Streaming details will be released shortly so keep your eyes out for further information.
