
Rocks fall to Riders on the road
Glasgow Rocks could not complete the season sweep of the Leicester Riders on Friday night when they were defeated 75-71 at the Morningside Arena.

It went back and forth early in the 1st quarter but Rocks were able to pull out to an 18-22 lead on the back of 8 points from Greg Pryor in the quarter.

Rocks were able to keep the lead all the way up until the halftime mark as Tadas Rinkunas proceeded to go 3/3 from deep in the quarter. As both teams went to the locker room, Rocks still lead 38-41.

In the lowest scoring quarter of the game, it was not long before Riders stole the lead back from the Rocks. The lead would change hands four more times in the quarter before the game was tied at 51 a-piece heading into the final quarter.

In the fourth, Riders went up by as much as 9 points and depite 14 points from Bo Zeigler that helped Rocks narrow it to a 2-point game in the dying minutes, they could not steal the win and were defeated 75-71 in Leicester.

Bo Zeigler finished as the game’s top scorer with 22 points.
Rocks next game will see them return to the Emirates Arena to take on Cheshire Phoenix on Sunday as they look for their 10th consecutive home win.
