Rocks are back on the road this Friday when they travel to Leicester to take on the Riders, then have a quick turnaround when they return to the Emirates to play Cheshire Phoenix as they look for their 10th straight win at home.
Sitting at 20-8, Riders are currently defending their second place position in the BBL standings. Despite crashing out of the Eurocup, Riders have bounced back and have been as formidable as ever during the 2018/19 season.
Rocks have defeated the Riders in both of their two meetings this season when they have come to the Emirates. Now Rocks face a different challenge as they hit the road to play them at the Morningside Arena on Friday night.
Rocks will need to watch out for inside presence of both Tim Williams and JR Holder who are each averaging over 14 points per game. Riders also have the ability to use their depth at all positions to run teams off the court.
On Sunday night Rocks return to the Emirates to face the Cheshire Phoenix as they look for their 10th straight win at home. Cheshire are currently on the hunt for a Playoff spot sitting at 7th in the standings with a 13-15 record. However, they have struggled in their last few games at home, losing the last three matchups with Riders, Flyers and Eagles.
Rocks will need to be aware of the wing threats posed by high flying Dillon Allen-Jordan and Mario Latinovic who both have the ability to let fly from deep. As well as that they will have a tough time inside dealing with bigs CJ Gettys and Jaylen Hayes.
