Rocks prepare for first trip to Eagles new arena

With a short break after their loss to Londo City Royals, Rocks are back on the road to face Newcastle Eagles for the first time in their brand new Eagles Community Arena.

Rocks faced Newcastle Eagles in their first home game of the season when they lost 85-100. However, Rocks are a rejuvenated side since then, while Eagles had their own struggles later in the season.

Recently coming back from injury, Eagles’ Big Victor Moses has been a force since his return to the BBL, averaging 17 points and 8 rebounds per game. Rocks have struggled with Moses’ athleticism in the past so he will be a key matchup for them on Friday night.

Former BBL League MVP Rahmon Fletcher is also having a standout season for Eagles with 14 points and a whopping 9 assists per game. Stellar play by Fletcher has allowed him to boost his teammates numbers with the Williams brothers (Kai & Jamal) as well as Darius Defore seeing improvements in their stats from past seasons.

With Eagles currently sitting 3rd in the league, a win over the Newcastle side will be huge in Rocks push for the Playoffs this season.
