
Rocks secure 5th place in BBL Playoffs
Rocks took the 82-70 win over the Plymouth Raiders on Sunday, securing 5th place going into the BBL Playoffs.
Kieron Achara also played his last regular season game and had his jersey retired. in front of the Rocks crowd.

Rocks started off slow in the first, allowing Plymouth to take a 25-20 lead at the end of the first quarter. Nevertheless, Achara was a force in the first, scoring 8 of his 12 points in the quarter.

Rocks took the lead in the second quarter after they outscored the Raiders 24-16. Bouna Ndiaye would check into the game and score 9 points in the quarter to allow Rocks to take a 44-41 lead into the halftime break.

In a low scoring third quarter, Rocks continued to add to the lead, taking an 8-point lead at 57-49 into the final quarter.

Rocks refused to take their foot off the gas in the fourth and outscored the visitors 25-21 to secure the 82-70 lead in their final home game of the 2018/19 regular season.
Five players finished in double-digits for the Rocks with Bouna Ndiaye leading the way with 17 points.

Rocks now look ahead to next weekend when they head into their first-round Playoff matchup with the London City Royals. Rocks will play host to the Royals in the second leg on Sunday the 5th of May.
